Core Values
Others First
Treat others like you would want to be treated
How to Live This Out
- Always go out of your way to help others. If you notice someone cleaning, lifting something heavy, or taking out the trash, step in and offer your assistance immediately
- Have a good attitude about working after hours and on weekends.
- Don’t feel bad for yourself if you feel like you are working harder than others. Hard work comes in seasons and looks different for everyone.
- Show up on time for work and meetings (on time means a few minutes early)
- To be unclear is to be unkind. Communicate directly and don’t beat around the bush
- Be respectful when others have alot on their plate. Find a way to help them or don’t distract them

Act Like An Owner
Genuinely care about the business and take full responsibility for your work.
How to Live This Out
- Don’t make excuses, take extreme ownership when something happens under your department and focus on implementing solutions to prevent the same mistake from happening again.
- Always present problems with a possible solution. Never bring up a problem without thinking through a possible solution first
- Don’t pass problems off to others. Seek feedback when needed, but retain ownership of fixing the problem yourself
- Take care of company property. Occasional damage is an accident; frequent damage is not acceptable
- Financial rewards come from the company’s profitability. When profits are low, only base pay is possible. Profits increase when revenue goes up and expenses go down -- both of which are achieved by living out the company’s core values.
- Identify ways to use your unique skills to contribute to the company.
- Approach leadership with a pitch on what you’re good at and how it will help us achieve either our 1 year, 3 year, or 10 year goals.
- It is obvious to leadership when a team member truly cares

Grow or Die
Take responsibility for growing in your role. Don’t require someone to hold your hand through learning new things. You can learn anything on YouTube
How to Live This Out
- Don’t be okay making the same mistakes. Once is understandable, more indicates a bigger issue
- Simplify, simplify, simplify - never solve problems by adding complexity (simplification is 10x harder)
- Utilize slow days to proactively identify and fix potential problems the company may face as it grows
- Constantly look for better ways to do things. What got us here won’t get us there.
- Mature, grow, and learn quickly. Apply feedback immediatley and get used to the new normal.

High Standards
Don’t be okay with mediocrity. Take pride in your work, knowing you gave your best effort. How you do one thing is how you do everything
How to Live This Out
- It is obvious to leadership when a team member seeks to do the bare minimum vs. seeks to go above and beyond.
- USE CHECKLISTS FOR EVERYTHING, “No wise pilot, no matter how great his talent and experience, fails to use his checklist.” - Charlie Munger
- If we are behind in company goals, don’t be goofing off
- Prioritize customer satisfaction above all, even when it’s inconvenient or requires extra effort.
- Do it right the first time
- Move at a pace that ensures the best possible outcome within the given timeframe

Get Stuff Done
Never procrastinate on something important. Learn to focus -- this is where real work gets done
How to Live This Out
- Reset your expectations for what is possible to get done. Get used to getting 1 week of work done in 1 day
- Don’t ask unnecessary questions. Check Trainual, Google, or YouTube for answers before asking for help
- When you are at work, be at work. Don’t check your phone every 10 minutes. Work for a couple focused hours then take a 10 minute break.
- When something urgent comes up. Don’t take your lunch break, don’t go get a snack, don’t be casually chatting with a co-worker. Complete the urgent task before doing anything else.
- ALWAYS complete recurring daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
- Only have to be told to do something once.
- Create training videos whenever possible. Don’t waste time and energy communicating the same thing to multiple people or the same person. Make a video once and multiply your time.
- Deadlines are not optional

Fun and Optimistic
Whether a good day or hard day, find enjoyment knowing that what you are doing is pushing the team one step closer to our goal
How to Live This Out
- Contribute to office culture in a productive, positive, and fun way. There is a time to bond with team members and a time to get work done.
- Help set the proper tone among coworkers. (Referring to the office dashboard is a great place to start)
- Find enjoyment in your job by taking pride in your contribution to the success of a winning team.
- Don’t get frustrated easily. Problems will happen, learn to work through them with a smile on your face.
- Be excited to take on hard tasks
